Here is the basic differences between them all:
G1: push/pull locking turrets, battery door requires a tool to open
G2: low profile windage/elevation, different mag ring design, lower cost model
G3: hard annodized finish, all metal windage/elevation components, dial illumination settings, type-h reticle, extended warranty
They have the same internal functions and optics. Basically find the look and reticle you prefer. This product is a solid scope so if it has what you like then it would be a good buy.
